UPA SS17 Collection was meant to bring new ideas and bring old techniques back from the past. Our materials had to be of the highest quality, light and luxurious. The brief was to create a simple, yet interesting and earthy collection. It was intended to inspire curiosity from our customers and make them feel special purchasing it. The materials in the collection are 100% linen and 100% silk. Some linen dresses are natural in colour, others are plant dyed with nettle, buckwheat and avocado skins. Some models have drawings on silk, some are stitched images. Each of these works is done by hand and might differ from one to another. The collection is very earthy and presented in a beautiful series of editorials. We also documented our colour swatch collection.
