The Headstogether Help-Seeking Initiative.

The first of its kind, Headstogether is a help-seeking initiative, a teacher’s guide. Its ambitious aim is to promote open, honest, non-judgmental communication about substance abuse and mental health issues between young people and adults. The manual was created as an innovative, easy-to-use toolkit for today's busy classroom environment. Students can scribble on it, fold corners, highlight sections, interact, etc. Raw tactile stocks evoke the individualism of all, while an open bind finishing furthers the inclusive communicative core. The spread mechanics make it easy to use, an expansive grid system and typographic set enhance legibility and usability, and impactful photography as well as bold colour work assist with the dispersal of content throughout. All elements come together as a cohesive unit to facilitate engagement. The dust cover doubles as a poster to promote the initiative.
