Cork Tourism Postcards – Cork City Council

Cork City Council was looking for engaging artwork to be placed in vacant shop fronts throughout Cork city centre. The Illustrations are based on Cork places of interest, particularly for visitors to the city. The artwork was on average 2m high and printed on translucent, high quality vinyl. Large lightboxes created a bold and colourful display during the winter months. Each subject had a customised mapping feature at the bottom of each poster, explaining to viewers how to find the subject location and the estimated time to walk to that location. Along with a description of the subject, the project proved successful as a means to communicate tourism across the city.
