Fáilte Ireland – Dunbrody

DESIGN CHALLENGE AND DESIGN IDEAS

Windmill Lane was comissioned by digital agency In The Company of Huskies to portray the history of the Dunbrody famine ship, through a graphic and engaging manner, to be used on the Fáilte Ireland website. It was also used as part of the installation on the Dunbrody ship in Wexford, as part of Ireland's Ancient East. The timeline produced and submitted is only part of all the content we created on the website and for the installation - https://www.irelandsancienteast.com/discover/stories/featured-stories/dunbrody

HOW THE BRIEF WAS MET

The final piece keeps the viewer engaged with the creative aesthetic, without getting too technical with facts, data and statistics. We used a 3d technique with C4D and After Effects, as well as multi layering animation and smart design to achieve the final result, which has already won numerous awards.
